Victory Model Piece

Can't believe the first week has all ready finished! We have been working on 'Victory' which is one of the shows for The Tron Theatre. My good friend Sophie Martin is the designer and I have had a really great time working on the set.

I feel I have finally got back into the swing of things after my mini breakdown during Mary Wives of Windsor. I think I am just so scared about graduating, job prospects, competition, life as a freelancer etc. and that it all just got to me. I was/am so determined to do well in Scenic Art, and I think I just pushed myself to much and lost control. I finally plucked up to speak to my tutor Gary about it during the Easter holiday, and he said it was hard to watch me go through this process, but said it sometimes all ways happens to at least one third year nearing the end of term. Poop it was me. However, I know feel like a weight is lifted off my shoulder and things are going swimmingly again.

Anyways I hope you can see from the pictures that the set is supposed to look like a wreck on the beach. I've had a lot of control over how to the processes on the is cloth, and I feel second year Gillian has really excelled on this piece!
