Week 10

Wahooooo panto is all done and dusted and it feels like a huge load off my shoulders! As it was my 21st on the Friday my parents where over to celebrate my Birthday which nicely clashed with the opening night of the Pantomime. As cheesey as it sounds, at the end of panto i actually felt proud about myself (which is a feeling that never usually occurs) - everything went to plan, and that I had actually managed the pantomime rather successfully!

The days before the first show however where still rather manic! We had numerous touch ups here and there, such as painting the bottom of flown flats, making the glitter look more magical, shellacing/painting handles etc. On Wednesday we had our last night paintcall, so we really couldn't afford to muck anything up, we were painting on the stage using brushes on sticks and had head torches on  our foreheads. The biggest job of the night was creating the shadows on the Village Flat.

However, when the designer came in on Thursday we had more notes which wasn't great news as I was the only one down at the Theatre! So Jude and Rosie had to come down as well as Gary to help out.

So here are some piccies of the finished product!
